Xhavin has been an Attorney since 2016 and utilized his engineering expertise and experience in the practice of law. Xhavin has worked as a practicing engineering field for over twenty years. His engineering experience includes high-tech, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and environmental work. Xhavin legal practice leverages his engineering experiences including in the areas of patent prosecution, business transaction, corporate governance, and litigation. Xhavin has appeared before Federal District Court and State Court. Xhavin has shares his vast knowledge with the next generation and is an adjunct professor at San Jose State University.
Xhavin received his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of British Columbia, a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from San Jose State University, Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from John Hopkins University, and Juris Doctorate from Santa Clara University School of Law. Xhavin has been admitted to practice in California, District of Columbia, and admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Xhavin also holds Professional Engineering License in California, Washington State, Oregon, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, and British Columbia. Xhavin holds certificates in International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) CIPP/US and CIPP/E, and member of Association of Energy Engineers (AEE), American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AICHE), and National Association of Patent Practitioners, President (NAPP).
